Known as a fashion designer, stylist, founder of The Golden Room and more recently costume designer. Jaida Hay is the epitome of a modern day renaissance woman.
Prior to Costume Designing in film & Tv. Jaida launched her own eponymous line after graduating from the prestigious Central Saint Martins with a Post Grad Certificate in pattern cutting. Jaida first gained experience working in London for designers Emilia Wickstead, Celine and Nicole De Carle.

Jaida’s young professional life started in tv commercials for Mattel, which exposed her to the world of film & tv at a young age. Her passions for film and fashion merged in 2014 and she quickly experienced success in the ever-growing Vancouver film industry working on the hit shows The Mother with Jennifer Lopez, Pachinko, The Terror, Travelers, Charmed, The Arrangement and building supersuits for the CW franchises Supergirl, Arrow, Legends & The Flash. As of recently, Jaida has ventured into the indie world on projects such as Sterling, Rise & Shine and Kompromat which are still in production.

As an avid traveler, Jaida loves studying cultural & socioeconomic differences. Adding depth to her designs by incorporating colours, textures and influences she encounters on her journeys.

Helping out in the community, Jaida volunteers her time working with Sources Bc. She also work hard to ensure any possible clothing from shows she’s worked on gets donated to the following charities at the end of the show: The Vancouver Children’s Hospital, The Union Gospel, Dress For Success & Covenant House.
